Jane Frecknall-Hughes

Jane Frecknall-Hughes is currently Professor of Law and Head of the Law School at The Open University, to which post she was appointed from 1 December 2011, to lead forward the School’s research, scholarship and teaching. This article summarises Jane’s recent inaugural professorial lecture in her previous post as Professor of Accounting at The Open University. This is based on her research, which centres on taxation with taxation history being a particular interest.
