ABI

The ABI is one of the UK’s leading trade associations. We represent the UK-based insurance industry on a wide range of issues to Government, regulators, other public bodies, and the media. Based at One America Square in the City of London, the ABI has around 95 staff.

We handle a wide range of work including policy issues covering life and general insurance; political lobbying in the UK, Europe and internationally; research; legal and taxation issues; media relations work; and liaison with regulators.

Graduates and placement schemes

While we do not have a formal graduate recruitment scheme, we sometimes recruit for graduate roles and we are always happy to receive applications from recent graduates. 

We also offer students a one-year industrial placement on our statistics team. Typically we look for those studying actuarial science, mathematics or economics with an interest in the insurance industry.
