Claritax Books was launched in 2011 to publish books about UK tax, written by tax barristers, solicitors, accountants and other professionals.
Our books are all written by individuals who are actively engaged in providing tax advice in their specialist areas, and who are willing to share their expertise in their writings.
We provide books to nearly all of the largest accountants in the UK, and to many smaller firms as well as to lawyers, financial advisers and other tax professionals. We also supply books to various institutes (e.g. the ICAEW) on a regular basis.
We are a small team based in Chester, England. The company is controlled and directed by Ray Chidell MA (Cantab), CTA (Fellow). Ray was for six years a tax partner with Mazars LLP and then worked for CCH for eight years, writing their top level tax commentary on his specialist topic of capital allowances and on certain other areas of UK tax.
Our books are all edited and printed in the UK.
