At our AGM in July, I was honoured to take on the role of Deputy President, succeeding Graham Batty, who now steps into the role of President.
It’s often said that the tax tail should not wag the business dog but given that tax has significant economic impacts I always think that it depends on the proportion of the dog!

My first event, following the AGM, was to support our joint Tax Technology Conference in Birmingham. The conference, ‘Tax Tech 2025’ was extremely well received.
