This month we start with several articles on the Finance Bill clauses. At the time of writing, the debates on the Finance Bill are continuing, so we do not have the definitive picture.

So the dust has settled on this year’s AGM and it is ‘all change’ at ATT Towers.

Over the past few weeks I’ve had the opportunity to listen to a number of discussions on the digital transformation taking place in the UK.

It was interesting to hear many of the attendees at a recent Office of Tax Simplification event admit that they could use their mobile phones for calls, texts and emails but that was about it.

This is my final welcome as deputy president: on the 7 July I will take over the presidency of ATT from Michael Steed.
