Celebrating ADIT and DITT success
Tax professionals from 11 countries gathered in London to celebrate their achievements in ADIT and DITT qualifications.
On Thursday 24 September, award winners, ADIT graduates and successful DITT candidates from 11 countries gathered with friends and family at Stationers’ Hall in central London to mark their successes in CIOT’s leading international tax and tax technology qualifications.
More students are sitting and passing ADIT exams and successfully navigating the DITT modules each year, with awareness of both qualifications continuing to grow throughout the global tax community. The annual Awards Ceremony gives practitioners who have worked hard to develop their knowledge and skills an opportunity to celebrate their considerable achievements and connect with fellow achievers.
In his address to the gathered attendees, CIOT President Paul Aplin congratulated the more than 30 achievers present on their recent exam successes and the hard work and dedication their accomplishments represent. He also emphasised the crucial role played by practitioners working in both international tax and tax technology in shaping the future of tax practice at a time when so much is changing, from the implementation of Pillar Two in countries around the world to the ever-expanding use of AI by fiscal authorities and tax professionals alike.
After the medals, prizes and certificates were awarded, the achievers enjoyed a reception with their guests and were able to have their photos taken in the picturesque venue.
The assembled ADIT graduates have joined a vibrant and well-connected community of close to 2,500 people across six continents who hold the qualification. As experts in the field, they will contribute throughout their careers to international tax policy, academic discourse and the profession as a whole.
Meanwhile, the successful DITT candidates are part of a rapidly growing network of approximately 600 tax technologists who have achieved the Diploma in Tax Technology since its launch in 2022, placing them at the leading edge of the technological transformation of tax administration and practice.
In addition to this in-person ceremony, the CIOT will be holding a virtual awards ceremony on Thursday 19 November for those ADIT graduates and award winners who were unable to travel to London but would still like to celebrate their success with other successful students.
We congratulate everyone who was honoured at the ceremony, and those who will be celebrating ADIT achievements at the forthcoming virtual ceremony. Your success is thoroughly deserved, and we look forward to supporting your continued learning and development throughout your careers!
