Council Member : Adam Rollason CTA

Upon leaving school at 16, Adam joined a small accountancy practice on an apprenticeship scheme. He qualified as an Accounting Technician in 2008, before going on to become a member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants in 2012.

Having discovered an interest in tax, Adam joined RSM’s corporate tax team and subsequently became a member of the CIOT in 2015. Since then, he has undertaken several tax advisory roles within legal and accounting practices, specialising predominantly in the provision of transactional tax advice to owner-managed businesses.

Adam joined PKF’s Birmingham office in 2020 to establish a new tax advisory team, before joining the partnership in 2022. He recently joined Crowe UK as the Lead Partner of the firm’s Birmingham office.

Adam has been a member of the Institute’s Owner Managed Businesses Technical Committee since 2016 and is the current Chair of the Birmingham Branch Committee. He has also previously served as a volunteer for Tax Help for Older People and delivered tax training sessions to school students as part of a local government careers initiative.

Outside of work, Adam enjoys travelling and exploring new places with his family. He is a lifelong West Bromwich Albion FC fan and also chairs the Baggies Business Club.
