The website of CIOT’s Low Incomes Tax Reform Group (LITRG) has been fully updated for the 2026-27 tax year. The site is well used by tax professionals, journalists and policy makers, as well as directly by taxpayers.
The site includes a dedicated Making Tax Digital Hub, providing clear, practical and free guidance for unrepresented taxpayers on the roll-out of MTD for Income Tax.
Each year, millions of people visit litrg.org.uk for help with their tax affairs. The website continues to be cited by the independent House of Commons Library as a useful source for tax information.
