International tax professionals from around the world came together in London for the TP Minds International Conference on 16-18 June, which included a day specifically devoted to Pillar Two.

The CIOT, represented by ADIT Manager Rory Clarke and DITT and ADIT Education Officer Sophie Briggs, attended the TP Minds International Conference in London.

An industry-focused event organised by Informa, a leading digital services and academic research group, TP Minds International 2026 attracted transfer pricing and corporate tax specialists from across the globe and featured expert speakers on a range of cutting-edge topics. These included thought leaders, policy makers, tax administrators and leading specialist advisers.

Around 500 delegates from across industry and tax practice attended the main summit on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 June. The varied conference programme addressed several topics of common interest to transfer pricing professionals, with many delegates staying on for the Pillar Two Summit on Thursday 18 June.

Global transfer pricing policy developments, disputes, challenges and the use of AI were high on the agenda, with various sessions and demos on these subjects. Speakers leading these discussions included experts from HMRC, the OECD and international tax administrations.

The implementation of Pillar Two was a key topic throughout the conference, particularly during the Pillar Two Summit. This provided a fantastic opportunity for delegates to learn about our brand new ADIT Pillar Two Award, a standalone qualification that had its first exam sitting in June.

Particular highlights of the three-day event for the CIOT and ADIT community included International Tax Affiliate Alvaro Benevides’ contribution to a session on ‘Practical Approaches to Managing Risk Through APAs and MAPs’, and ADIT holder Guillermo de Alba’s discussion of Pillar Two’s practical aspects in the new US side-by-side era.

It was a privilege for our team to talk with the assembled delegates about the ADIT qualifications, as well as our groundbreaking tax technology qualification, DITT. These fast-moving learning programmes each support a growing number of tax employers and their employees, helping international tax professional to stay abreast of the latest developments while meeting their diverse learning and compliance needs.
