Paul is the current President of the CIOT and a well-known tax writer and speaker, particularly on tax administration and technology. Formerly a tax partner at AC Mole & Sons he now advises two software developers and is an Independent Adviser to HMRC’s Closing the Tax Gap Committee. He was appointed an OBE for services to the profession and for public service in 2009. Notably, he becomes the first person to have served as President of both CIOT and ICAEW.
