Leeds Branch celebrates its 50th Anniversary
The Leeds Branch of the ATT and CIOT celebrated its 50th anniversary in style with a dinner at the Met Hotel in Leeds.
The sold-out event had almost 100 attendees, including branch volunteers and representatives from local firms. We were particularly pleased to be joined by a number of former Leeds Branch Chairs and not one, but three, ATT Past Presidents. Current CIOT Vice President Jonathan Riley and ATT CEO Jane Ashton were also in attendance.
Attendees were treated to a three course dinner and entertainment from a magician and DJ. There was also a photobooth, which the Branch Committee took full advantage of. Speeches were given by current Branch Chair Chloe Radcliffe-Scott, former Chair Karen Eckstein and our sponsor Georgiana Head. We were also delighted to be able to make a presentation to local CTA prize-winner Rachel Jackson.
A highly successful evening was rounded off with a raffle, which raised over £1,000 for Tax Aid.
Thanks go to Chloe and the Branch Committee for their hard work in organising the dinner, and to the Branches Team in Head Office for their support. We would also like to thank Georgiana Head Recruitment for their generous sponsorship. We look forward to seeing what the next 50 years bring for the branch!
