Charlotte has been a CIOT Council member since 2019 and was CIOT President in 2024–25. She worked for many years at ICAS, Edinburgh, in a range of policy and regulatory roles, and was secretary to the Professional Conduct in Relation to Taxation Working Group (comprising seven professional bodies).
